Interns
The place where I intern has too many interns. We never have anything to do so we end up slacking off most of the time. Their shenanigans suck me in an prevents me from doing anything productive. Anyways, note to self: beer with old beer can collection and two cats aaand there is a protein in mammalian brains called sonic hedgehog. Go earth! I'm also currently plowing through Cosmos.

I renewed the domain and hosting for another year - yay.
Dirty keys
My current keyboard is from the summer of 2004 (or 2005), it's time for a new one. There is way too much shit under there keys. Besides, this keyboard has had its own history. At one point I remember spilling a Fanta on the keyboard and the keys got all sticky, so I decided to throw some water on the keys and rub around. It helped, only there was water in my keyboard (which, in my opinion, sounds retarded).
I'm at a point where I realize that I can't face the horrors waiting for me under each key. Each one is like a short story within itself, like the letters of the alphabet back in primary school, only now it's history written in hair mixed with crap from your hands over the last five years. Actually, I have tried to clean this keyboard before, only to realize that the cause gets lost more and more every time you try. It's like a freaking tape (think '80s) which you can only write to so many times before all you get from the recording is a hum.
Back again
I took the site down during Christmas for reasons which I am not willing to disclose here. Needless to say it is up now, thanks to people nagging at me.
I cleaned up the friends list from the menu, realizing that there is no actual content behind the hyperlinks (as opposed to me not having any friends). This is also a sort of reminder that none of my friends blog, which is a relief. Although if they do without telling me about it, I'd be pretty upset if I found out.
Now my days mostly consist of working out and listening to new music. The music part is really hard, because you realize that there is too much music. This means that there is no way to listen through all the music to pick out the best stuff. You have to rely on someone else to do that. The flaw with that tactic is that you have to be sure that your taste is compatible. Yes, there is a service for that (last.fm) and yes, it works to a certain extent. But how about the case where you want music that no one has ever heard of? Of course, I don't mean in the sense that the music just came into existence by itself, but the music that is more rare - the stuff that you listen to for the first time and say/feel "whoa". You ask someone what it is and they don't know either. THAT is the music that I want, which is why I sit here and listen through stuff recommended by electronic music blogs (which are a bitch to find, imo). Sure, their taste is not bad, but their filter is not good enough, so to speak. A lot of shit still gets through. Sigh :)
I am on no way miserable because of this, for I know that sooner or later I will stumble over something that I will be listening to for years to come.
Holy shit
Just noticed that I'm another notch down down on my belt... or is this the first notch? Either way, holy shit. (Apologies for incorrect use of terminology in the previous post where I used "buckle" when I obviously meant "notch in the belt")
